How to Get Seeker Mine in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Seeker Mine sends out homing mines that chase enemies down for you, which saves a lot of aiming. It's Aqua-only, and like the rest of her mine commands it's easy to build. Three recipes and every one of them is guaranteed.

How to Meld Seeker Mine (All Guaranteed)

Three recipes at 100%:

Ingredient 1 Ingredient 2 Odds Works for Simulator Link
Mine Shield Mine Square 100% Aqua only Try this combo
Mine Shield Magnega 100% Aqua only Try this combo
Mine Square Magnega 100% Aqua only Try this combo

Any two of Mine Shield, Mine Square and Magnega will do the job. That flexibility means you can nearly always throw one together from whatever's spare.

Which Crystal Should You Use?

All three can't fail, so the ability is the only thing to weigh up.

Mine Shield + Mine Square with a Wellspring Crystal gives Once More. Use this one. A 100% recipe that also hands you Once More is great value, and it's the only Seeker Mine route that offers it at all.

The other two are nearly identical to each other. Both give Fire Screen on Shimmering, Attack Haste on Fleeting and Combo Plus on Wellspring. Pulsing is the only place they differ: Mine Shield + Magnega gives Finish Boost, while Mine Square + Magnega gives Leaf Bracer.

So in practical terms, use Mine Shield + Mine Square for Once More, or Mine Square + Magnega for Leaf Bracer. Mine Shield + Magnega doesn't really have a reason to exist unless it's all you've got.

Level it before melding it away if you want to keep the ability.

Commands That Use Seeker Mine as an Ingredient

Nothing melds from Seeker Mine, so once you've made one you can stop thinking about it and just use it.
