How to Meld Salvation (The Only Recipe)

Both ingredients are required and there's no alternative route. Curaga is the one that stings, because it's useful in plenty of other recipes, so factor that in before you commit it here.

Which Crystal Should You Use?

Single recipe, so the crystal is your only choice. Fortunately it's a good one.

Pulsing Crystal gives Second Chance. A recipe that can't fail and also hands you Second Chance is hard to argue with. If you're still without it, this is one of the cleanest ways for Ventus to fix that.

• Shimmering gives Cure Boost, which is a nice fit since Salvation heals you anyway
• Fleeting gives Reload Boost
• Wellspring gives Combo Plus
• Soothing gives Defender
• Hungry gives Treasure Magnet
• Abounding gives Lucky Strike

Get it to max level before melding it away or you'll lose the ability.

Commands That Use Salvation as an Ingredient

Nothing melds from Salvation. Once it's made and you've taken your ability off the crystal, it's purely a combat command, so there's no reason to be precious about it.

Building the Wind Raid First

Wind Raid is the one ingredient you will probably have to make. Both recipes are guaranteed and both are Ventus-only, same as Salvation itself.

Both need an Aeroga, which melds from Aero + Aerora at 90%. If you are also planning on Faith, make two Wind Raids, because that command consumes one as well.
