Best Commands in KH Re:coded – Top Synthesis Targets
The Command Matrix in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is fully deterministic — every combination always produces the same result. That means the most powerful commands in the game are reachable through planning, not luck. This guide covers the top synthesis targets: what they do, why they're worth building, and the exact recipe chain to get there.
Most of the best commands are connected. Building Aeroga and Firaga opens up Wind Tracer, which feeds into Judgment Triad, Cyclone, and more. The ice and thunder chains produce Exo Spark and the Pursuit commands. Almost every synthesis step produces something you'll use again.
Curaga — The Healing Priority
Curaga is the strongest healing command in the game and an ingredient in multiple endgame synthesis paths. Make it as soon as you have Land Crash and Cura available — you will not regret spending the resources.
Land Crash is a found command — it doesn't have a synthesis recipe, so you need to pick it up from drops or chests in later worlds. Fira is synthesized from Fire + Cure. Curaga comes up again as an ingredient in Chain Rave, so aim to make two copies once resources allow.
Firaga — Core Fire Magic
Firaga is a strong fire spell and a required ingredient for Wind Tracer, which feeds into Judgment Triad and Cyclone. Building Firaga early means you're already most of the way to the game's most powerful commands. You start the game with both Fire and Sliding Dash already in your deck, so the first step of this chain is available immediately.
Air Spiral is a found command. You will need at least two Air Spirals in total — one for Heat Storm (this chain) and one for Wind Storm in the Aeroga chain below. Pick up extras whenever you see them.
Aeroga — The Synthesis Cornerstone
Aeroga is a strong wind spell, but its real value is as an ingredient. It feeds directly into Wind Tracer and Chain Rave, making it central to the strongest physical and magic chains in the game. Build it as soon as Aero and Air Spiral are available.
You will need two copies of Aeroga — one for Wind Tracer and one for Chain Rave. That means two full runs of this chain. Stock up on Aero and Air Spiral before starting.
Chain Rave — Best AoE Physical
Chain Rave is one of the most satisfying commands in Re:coded — a multi-hit physical AoE that clears groups quickly. Once you have Aeroga and Curaga, you can synthesize it directly. It is also a required ingredient for Triple Blizzaga, Triple Pursuit, and Blizzaga Pursuit.

Chain Rave can also be made from any Raid command (Fire Raid, Thunder Raid, or Aero Raid) combined with Spark Dive — useful if you haven't built Aeroga yet. But Aeroga + Curaga is the simplest single recipe once you're further along the chain.
Triple Magic — Triple Firaga and Triple Blizzaga
The Triple magic commands fire three projectiles at once, dealing heavy damage across a wide area. Triple Firaga is the easiest to reach — if you've already built Curaga and Firaga, you have both ingredients. Triple Blizzaga requires building up the ice chain first.

Heat Dive is already a byproduct of the Curaga chain (Fira + Land Crash), so if you've reached Curaga you can make Triple Firaga immediately with one extra Firaga.
Triple Blizzaga
First build Blizzaga via the ice chain, then combine it with Stun Impact.
You need two copies of Blizzara — one for Ice Dive and one for Blizzaga. The Blizzaga chain also feeds directly into Pursuit Magic below, so build it before moving on.
Pursuit Magic — Blizzaga Pursuit and Triple Pursuit
Pursuit commands fire homing projectiles that track enemies across the arena. They are among the best magic options for bosses since they connect even when the target is moving. Both are built from components you'll already have by this point.

Both Pursuit commands share Muscle Strike as an ingredient. Since Muscle Strike also feeds into Judgment Triad, make sure you have enough copies before committing them here — you need at least two Muscle Strikes total if you want Blizzaga Pursuit, Triple Pursuit, and Judgment Triad.
Exo Spark — Thunder and Ice Explosion
Exo Spark is a powerful magic command that deals heavy multi-element damage. It requires Triple Blizzaga (already built) plus Thundaga, so this section also covers the full thunder upgrade chain.
Keep a spare Thundara and Thundaga before committing to Exo Spark — both are needed again for Pulse Tracer in the Cyclone chain below.
Judgment Triad — Devastating Physical Finisher
Judgment Triad is a devastating physical combo command — a wide, multi-hit finisher that deals excellent damage to groups. Build it as soon as Wind Tracer is available.
Note that you'll need Wind Tracer a second time for Cyclone below — so synthesize two copies before moving on. That means two each of Aeroga and Firaga.
Cyclone — Thunder and Wind Combined
Cyclone is a powerful magic combo command that merges wind and thunder in a single attack. With Thundaga from the Exo Spark chain and Wind Tracer from the Judgment Triad chain, you have everything you need.
Pulse Tracer needs both Thundara and Thundaga — keep spares of each from the Exo Spark chain before you use them up.
What to Stock Up On
Before starting these synthesis chains, collect extras of the following found commands:
- Air Spiral — needed for Heat Storm (Firaga), Wind Storm (Aeroga), and Spark Storm (Thundaga). You need at least three.
- Land Crash — needed for Heat Dive (Curaga) and Muscle Strike (Judgment Triad). Collect extras whenever you find them.
- Aero — used multiple times in the Aeroga chain. Pick up as many as available.
- Cure — needed for Fira, Cura, Rising Strike, and Aerora paths. Always keep multiple in reserve.
- Thunder — needed for Thundara and Spark Storm. Keep extras before starting the Exo Spark chain.
